APOA5 Human (Apolipoprotein A5)
- Has a vital role in the regulation of triglyceride levels in serum. This is shown by the fact that 4 fold elevated levels are observed in mouse nock-out when compared to human knock-in which show 60% lower levels of mouse serum triglycerides.
- Not a lot of information is available on the amount of protein present in human serum. It was only recently, that it was confirmed that it is present and can be picked up using a polyclonal antibody.
