Epidermal growth factor Rat (EGF)

Source: Adult Male Rat Submandibular Glands.

Physical Appearance: Sterile filtered white lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.

Formulation: Lyophilized from 1mg/ml solution contained in  sodium acetate buffer (0.01M)

Solubility: Reconstitute lyophilized in sterile water (18MΩ-cm) greater than 100 µg/ml.

Stability: Should store desiccated less than -18°C for long term storage (carrier protein required also). Once reconstituted it should be stored at 4°C and used within 2-7 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Purity:  More than 99% as observed by SDS-PAGE and RP-HPLC.
